Verification
Verification is about the process used to construct a system. It answers the question; Did we build it the right way?
When systems are considered for development, a test plan is constructed that tells what processes control the development.
If it says for example; "all software will be code reviewed" then the verification process manages the checks to see "verify" that code reviews are being performed.
